The sign at the laundromat said "We will be responsible for all lost, stolen or damaged goods." I thought at first the "not" fell off. Then I spoke with the manager.
"I lost $20 at Disneyland on the Monorail, back when I was eleven," I said. And she handed me a sawbuck, just like that.
