Things have history, even though it's usually impossible to find it out. I went to the Salvation Army and bought some very nice furniture last December - a set of six very nice upholstered chairs, sturdy and fancy and clean. Well, the velociraptor eggs inside must have been heat-activated somehow, because the velociraptors tore themselves free of the seat cushions right in the middle of a very nice dinner party last night, while we were having Chinese hot pot for the lunar new year.

I called Salvation Army to complain, and they were surprised. Those chairs weren't used - they were actually factory overstock that got donated. No mad scientists handled the chairs at any time, and nobody knows how the raptor eggs got in there.

Also, the velociraptors ate my left arm, which was my second favorite arm!
