Today for lunch I went to this political fundraiser event. Near the end, the organizer got up to the podium and thanked us all for attending. "And now a man who needs no further introduction."
As promised, she gave no further introduction. A man none of us recognized walked up to the podium. We all applauded in polite bafflement.
"I also don't need to give a speech," the man said, and then he walked away briskly.
