On Being an Adult

When I moved into my current apartment, the landlord pointed out a spooky, antique-looking door in the apartment.

"Whatever you do," he said ominously, "do not open the door, or look inside."

I haven't done so, of course; it's part of the lease. So far it's been working out great!
