Wine and Doubt
Feb. 4th, 2007 09:15 pmSo I wine to that wine exhibit that everyone has been blogging about. It was pretty exciting!
My favorite wine was the Grossman & Vintners Femtosecond Blue. It was created in the first quadrillionth of a second of the universe's creation, pressed from grapelike particles that no longer exist, and left preserved in a cask ever since. Only three bottles survived to the point of human history.
"The other two were already opened," said the collector sheepishly, "One was utter perfection. The other has a corkage problem, and apparently tasted like very, very spoiled vinegar. We're scared to open this one. What if it's gone bad too?"
