"No, I don't find it charming at all!" said Curtis earnestly, "I think it's stupid."

We were all a little surprised. Curtis was usually so quiet.

"An exaltation of larks? A pack of dogs? A school of fish? Gaggle, pod, pride, herd, flock, murder, and clutch? It's ridiculous! Let's just replace all those antiquated words with the simple, obvious word 'group.' The only reason to spend any time whatsoever learning all of these embarassingly inefficient terms is so you can smirk and know the 'official' word that no one ever uses. It's just inane."

And that's how we knew that Curtis was the robot infiltrator.
