Mar. 15th, 2006 06:40 pmI love this modern age, and I can't wait for what's next. But there's one bit of regret in my ultracapitalist transhumanist heart: Haggling.
I love haggling! The very idea of it is beautiful. But haggling went out of style for folks like you and me long before I was born.
Will you do something for me? Haggle with me? I don't care about what, as long as it's a good healthy bout of ruckus-raising, glass-and-barbed-wire, iron-in-the-sky, feet-on-the-clay, dirty street fair-style haggling.
