At every wedding I have attended, I have seen them. An older couple on the dance floor, doing fancy formal dance steps - swing, ballroom, whatever - while the kids play their fancy-pants rock and roll. There's very clear formal steps, and it's obvious that the couple has been dancing together for forty years. They're way, way cooler than anyone else on the dance floor.

I totally want to be that. When I'm sixty, I want to go to zegbref-ceremonies and recloning-witnessings and upload-wakes, and I want to bust out with the lindy-hop or the charleston, and the kids will all go "0111 1100 1001 0111! I wish I were that cool."

Then again, maybe I want to do the forbidden Crips-only dance instead. What will the kids think then?
